of pain and torture as well as an demonstration tool before those humans who still had bitter feelings for the elves of
Rhysia. Then during one of those demonstrations something strange happens, the Goddess Thynitic speaks to her and
grants her the power to rise to a high position in the temple.
After a while, Arielle is directed to return to Kilenter and make contact with a group of elves there. But first she must
confront her past. Will she continue to follow the Goddess of Chaos and Pain or will she return to the life she once had as
a ranger of Frayrith, the Lady of the Forests? And will she be able to, after she is responsible for the death of one of the
